the same has been carried.

I do not object to a use of solid blocks of- stone in the main body of the concrete, but wish these to be most carefully bedded in Portland cement
mortar.
I wish the concrete forming the inner face of
the dam for the width shewn on
Drawing Nr. 3
to be grouted layer-by-layer with Portland cement
grout so as to form one compact and solid
water-resisting mass; as,
